The Quran, one verse at a time.
ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ ٢
Listen to a reciter, repeat the way the daara taught it, then recite. Daara listens and marks every word on your phone, without sending your voice anywhere.
The alluwa method
In a daara, a child writes the verse on a wooden board, reads it to the teacher, repeats it until it holds, then washes the board and writes the next one. Daara keeps that rhythm.
- ListenHusary, Minshawi, Afasy and others, word by word, at the pace you need.
- RepeatOne verse on a loop, three, five, ten times. Then the next, then both together.
- ReciteThe text hides. Each word comes back when you say it right.
- ReturnReviews come back just as a verse starts to fade.

Your voice stays with you
Recognition runs in the browser, with a small model trained on recitation (40 MB, downloaded once). No server, no recording sent, no account required.
Built for small phones
Daara installs like an app, works on 3G and stays usable offline for downloaded surahs. Large text, big buttons, in French, English and Arabic.
A khatm, together
“For our late father”, “Thursday dahira”: create a khatm and send the link on WhatsApp. Everyone takes a juz with their first name, no account needed, and ticks it off when done. The ring fills up for all to see.
Create a khatmWhat Daara does not do
- It does not replace a teacher. It checks words, not tajweed rules yet (a trial exists, marked beta).
- Isolated Quranic letters (Alif Lam Mim, Ya Sin) are poorly recognised for now.
- It only knows the Hafs reading.
